PlyTec

PlyTec is a heavyweight plywood core panel with a smooth gelcoat skin. It is the original composite sandwich panel introduced to the truck body building industry. While most users now have a preference for lighter weight PP honeycomb cored panels, it is still used for high-impact applications and for rear swing doors.

PlyTec provides cost-effective structural panel solutions in truck body building and transportable mining accommodation.

Its heavyweight nature is preferred by some users in the daily delivery truck sector. PlyTec is commonly used for rear and side doors on trucks, which undergo significant load cycling and the use of high compression fittings in their manufacture.
