Holypan is a thermoplastic sandwich composite panel consisting of a lightweight polypropylene (PP) honeycomb core and fibreglass reinforced polypropylene-face sheets that are thermofused together by a lamination/melting process.
This extremely lightweight panel has multiple and diverse applications due to its strength-to-weight ratio and its impact-absorbent properties. Holypan composite panel is water resistant and will not rot.
Processing Holypan panels is simple. The panel’s thermoplastic constituents allow innovative fabricating techniques, such as thermoforming and thermowelding, which are not possible with conventionally produced composite panel.
Holypan panel is used to provide cost-effective and significant weight reduction in sectors such as road, rail and marine transport.
This composite panel product is widely used to manufacture recreational vehicles, such as the walls and floors of caravans and campers. It is used within the construction and building industry to build temporary structures, tiny homes and mining accommodation.
This composite thermoplastic panel can cost-effectively replace traditional materials such as fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP), glass-reinforced polymer (GRP), plywood, steel and aluminium. Holypan has a unique bionic structure. The core is polypropylene (PP) honeycomb and the skin is fibreglass-reinforced PP plastic. Holypan is:
Lavender Composite’s Brisbane, Melbourne and NZ facilities stock a comprehensive range of panel thicknesses from 12mm to 30mm and panel sizes up to 9400mm x 2500mm.
For larger projects, customised sizes can be manufactured.
Standard skin finishes are either natural or factory-applied two-pack polyurethane white.
