PP Honeycomb

This lightweight honeycomb core for sandwich panels is made from polypropylene (PP) thermoplastic. The core’s low density combined with excellent compressive strength provides the perfect combination of properties to manufacture structural sandwich panels.

Supplied with a lightweight scrim on both sides to assist skin bonding, the core is suitable for laminating against any skin material.

PP Honeycomb core is used to create rigid structural panels in the truck body building, RV and bus building industries. As a multitude of different skin materials can be bonded to this honeycomb core, it can also be used in many other industries where a lightweight rigid panel is required.

This lightweight yet strong sandwich core product has excellent mechanical properties. PP Honeycomb has:
